What Is Sheng Ji

The Living Tomb, Explained

Sheng Ji (生基) — literally "living foundation" — is a Feng Shui ritual practice in which a person's nails, hair, and personal possessions are placed on carefully chosen auspicious land. The practice originates from China and has been carried through generations of Feng Shui lineages.

The discipline is in the site, not the ritual alone. Before any ceremony is performed, Master Yeow assesses the land itself for genuinely favourable Qi — surrounding terrain, orientation, and energy flow — using the same Flying Stars and compass methods applied in residential audits.

Clients pursue Sheng Ji for health, career stability, longevity, and protection from misfortune, as part of a tradition observed for centuries across Chinese metaphysical practice.
